This training is designed to increase awareness around sexual behaviors that are inappropriate and potentially harmful among children and teens. Attendees will gain knowledge to help distinguish typical from problematic sexual behavior in youth. Common myths and the truths that dispel them will be discussed. A brief overview of consent laws, available resources, and tips for how to respond will be provided. Lastly, case scenarios will be explored to allow for practice identifying considerations for safety planning.
