This virtual education program, hosted by Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City Crittenton Children’s Center, will be on Thursday, June 13 from 12 – 1:30 p.m.

The education workshop will cover:

  • Recognition of key supportive practices for parents and caregivers
  • What affects caregiver ability and willingness when supporting children’s mental health
  • How providers can utilize their trauma lens with caregivers
  • Strategies for supporting caregivers to move beyond self-care to community care

 

Nursing: To earn contact hours, participants must attend the full workshop plus complete the evaluation. No partial credit is given. Saint Luke’s Health System is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Contact hours: 1.5 hours.
