Art Therapy for Parkinson’s Patients
You’re invited to join an art therapy program created specifically for Parkinson’s patients, presented by Dr. Susan Sifers and the Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute. Thanks to a community grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation, the program is free and will be led by a certified art therapist who is also a licensed clinical counselor.
Participants will explore a different art medium at each event. Art therapy has been shown to help with hand dexterity, mood, self-expression, and enhance participants’ quality of life.
Space is limited. Register online or call Saint Luke’s Concierge at 816-932-5100.
*registrants do not need to register care givers coming with them.
